Hello Admins, Moderators and Operators!

It has come to my attention after playing on this server with my friends that this server has a lack of security in and around spawn. Although your moderators and ops do a great job at trying to keep spawn at full health it seems to be destroyed time and time again by griefers and hackers. May I suggest that you as Admins protect spawn!?!?! I have owned several small servers like mcmegaworld and know that small servers are GREAT for griefers.

Another topic i would like to bring up is: Why do players who are loyal to this server have to pay for permissions!?!? $10-$15 is half the price of an American minecraft account! I know that it can be a one time donation, but don't you find it funny that people are paying and protecting your server? I get that you need the money to pay for the server, but there are other ways!

1. If you are in trouble with the government because of Megaupload, shut down the website and get a new website or forum with a new domain!

2. If your server is in the "cloud" why not transfer it to a desktop computer that has a stable internet connection, good processor, and at least 4 GB of Ram.

I see a lot of potential in this server and I have a lot of ideas that can get this server more traffic, money, and popularity! If you want to talk to me privately email me at [e-mail]

Great feedback, and great ideas.

Maybe a few misunderstandings. We're simply hosting "spigot", and in order to keep up with the minecraft client updates, we need to also update the server. Anytime we update the server, we take the risk of breaking things like worldguard, so we update that, and there are bugs, and problems. So, we're doing our best to keep-up. The point of having as few plugins as possible is to minimize the number of things we need to update. But, it happens sometimes. We don't write the code, we just host it.

We have nothing to do with megaupload. Not sure where you got that info. We liked the name "megaworld", and it was taken, so ... we don't own "megaworld.com". We just created our own name, "mcmegaworld". That's all.

No one has to pay for anything. Repeat, no one has to pay for anything. We take donations. It's that simple. Repeat - we take donations. So, no one is making anyone pay for anything. OK? However, lets say someone donates. We have found that they typically donate if they like the server. And, usually if they like the server, they like to help admin it. So ... think of it like that. People make donations, and if we trust them and they seem to care for the server, we give them commands to help admin the server. To be clear: Some admins have never donated, and some donators don't have commands.

Finally: This server was on a desktop PC with 4G of ram. We got in trouble with our ISP, and upset a lot of people anytime we turned off our computer. So, we decided to host it elsewhere. I hope that makes sense.

Please elaborate on your ideas for ideas to offset the cost of the server.
